The futuristic-sounding acronym SPIIC stands for “Studio for Polystylistic Improvisation and Interdisciplinary Crossover”, which was formed as part of the Innovative Hochschule/Stage_2.0 project. It’s headed by the border-crosser Vlatko Kučan, a jazz saxophonist and clarinetist.
