Project description (short):
Exploring innovative ways to produce sound on the đàn bầu opens up new creative possibilities. By learning and mastering these extended techniques, performers can expand their expressive range and offer fresh inspiration to composers. Introducing these methods to both composers and đàn bầu players can greatly enrich contemporary composition and improvisation, paving the way for unique sonic landscapes and modern interpretations of this traditional instrument.
Subjects the project encompasses: Dan Bau Lesson, multimedia composition, contemporary composition, experimental music, free improvisation.
